overview

idealo is an established e-Commerce company based in Berlin, Germany and operating throughout Europe. In 2020, I was responsible for managing the Christmas campaign, from conceptualizing a key visual to providing art direction and delivering creative assets, including motion graphic video for social media.

A knitted sweater look was implemented to create a warm and cozy sentiment in the digital environment.
This is because I wanted to add a different touch to the Christmas theme that has been seen so often in recent years.
There are distinct Christmas themed looks, for example, using colors red and green, and visual elements such as a Santa Claus and Reindeers. The knitted sweater is also seen around Christmas time, but not in the digital space. To bring a familiar motif into a new environment was an experiment and I am happy to say that I received a lot of positive feedback on the campaign.
